Well.. this is interesting.

Eric on Twitter: "In September 2019, Johns Hopkins in partnership with WHO published a detailed report on "high-impact respiratory pathogens" that is prophetic. For example, they warned NPI policies could be abused by overreaching governments for political/social purposes, not because of evidence. https://t.co/DbC1WQjeQc" / Twitter

I'd like to see the rest of the report.

I'd also point out that nothing has been said here. The reader is supposed to link that because Johns Hopkins said travel restrictions and quarantine *might* be pursued for social or political purposes, that in this case travel restrictions and quarantines *were* pursued for social or political purposes.

But Johns Hopkins said no such thing.

and the dems actions increase the possibility of fraud 10 fold

so two can play your game OAM

the solution is there if both sides would just talk to each other
The solution is simple! Voter identification. I’m sorry but nobody can credibly argue against that.

its also not ballot harvesting

and voting on one day

its also allowing poll watchers to go unhendered

its also not closing polling places running out the poll watchers and then processing ballots unobserved

there are many more too numerous to mention

The problem is that Republicans yelled and screamed that widespread fraud has occurred when it hasn't.  It's good to want to prevent fraud.  But it's a lie to say it's happened when it hasn't.  When policy is built on a lie, where does that leave us?

Sure, our elections are probably ripe for the picking.  But they haven't been picked.  And the proposed changes by Rs are targeted to prevent the poor and minorities from voting.  I can't believe you're on the other side of the net wanting to play this game.  Rs are pinpointing populations to omit from voting like smart bombs and you're pretending it's both sides equally at fault.

It's pretty disgusting.

All of your items listed are what could lead to voting fraud, not what actually did.  But this one is my favorite.  It's projecting what the Republicans would do if the roles were reversed.  They couldn't be trusted to process ballots unobserved, so that means no one should be.  It's amazing.

I'm in la-la land because I disagree with the narrative you've been fed with no actual evidence.
You probably believe in a god, too.

Yes.  How dare those nasty Rs want people to be identified.    The shame.  Its racist I tell you. In fact- anytime we are asked for ID, like boarding an airplane, purchasing a weapon, making a bank withdrawal or buying beer- is racist!

Disgusting.

I almost wasn't able to vote because the address on my ID didn't match where I'm living.

maybe you shouldn't have been allowed
you knew your ID wasn't up to date
you knew there was an election coming up
it's an easy fix
have you since updated the ID?
do your license plates match your county?

OAM certianly does live in "derail this by stirring folks up" land.

Every time I think perhaps we might dialogue to one degree, we get a very aggressive post, which triggers four more, which triggers three responses and off we go.

So this gets you down the rabbit hole.

People who move close to election day can't vote unless there are hoops jumped through. DMVs in many places make things difficult. It turns a casual lack of inertia into a way to make things more difficult (and then people will lament when orgs pop up to drive people places to get IDs updated and such).

I have a sticker I need to put on my car. I haven't gotten around to it. None the less, I'm allowed to drive.
