It should also be noted, voting primarily on a Tuesday is a bad and inefficient tradition. If you're not in favor of expanding the voting window, it should at the very least be moved to a non-work day.

Not gonna happen. Election Day is a holiday in some states.

I'm all for early voting and verified absentee voting. Showing ID should be mandatory. It's silly to not be.

For the most part I don't mind the showing ID part (you get into questions of how a homeless person might vote, or those with insufficient access to certain services, but that can be worked through).

I'd aim for that to be relatively loose rather than stringent. If you have the spirit of being IDed correctly, I'd prefer it not get tripped up on technicalities (updated after a move, issues with students, the like).

As long at the window is larger, Tuesdays are peachy. It just seems so silly to set it up so you have long waits early and late and just old people and the lightly employed wandering in for 70 percent of the open hours. (also some of the silly and punitive laws that have popped up around supplying people stuck in line)

perhaps one party doesn't want the masses voting, but that's not "my" party

I'd like as many legal voters to vote as possible within reason

I showed my state issued driver's license to vote.  Didn't feel like oppression.  I also wore my mask, that wasn't oppressive either, IMO

if a legal voter wants to cast a ballot there's no unreasonable hoops to jump through, IMO

if illegal voters want to cast a ballot, it should be nearly impossible.

I honestly didn't think the sequel was funny at all. I thought it was trying to hard to be "woke" and that it was in general just flat out terrible. The only part of that movie that was any good was Wesley Snipes' cameo. Oh and his daughter Bopopo or whatever.
To be fair, I wouldn't have paid money to watch the sequel in a theater. It wouldn't have been worth that.

But I already have Amazon Prime, so for my investment (time, not money), it was stupid and funny, and I don't regret it.

I did not like the sequel.  And I thought it emphasized African stereotypes, some of which were not positive.

This cancel thing to me is PR.  The owners of whatever decided not to publish more of it, they own it.  It could also increase sales of forgotten books etc.

Nobody is making them do it.

Well.. this is interesting.

I almost wasn't able to vote because the address on my ID didn't match where I'm living.
No one wants people to vote who shouldn't vote.
The Republicans know good and well they're actions are limiting legal citizens from voting.

and the dems actions increase the possibility of fraud 10 fold

so two can play your game OAM

the solution is there if both sides would just talk to each other

You might want to google the last election results to see how many people voted. Voter suppression?  Lol

And as is almost always the case when you post your dribble you are not only incorrect but the opposite of the truth. Most Republicans fully understand the difference between identifying a voter and having wide open voting or ballots are mailed unsolicited identifications are not checked and dead people get to vote as well as those who vote multiple times in multiple locations. It is some Democrats who understand their path to victory is to manufacture false votes.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
