That course is about 12 miles from my house. When I first moved back from GA to CA, I lived in an apartment complex that backed up to the course. I could take a little walking trail along the course down to the beach for exercise. Beautiful course.

Never played it, though... Can't afford the $300 weekend greens fees!
nice area

I've never been to that area or played golf there.  Probably the closest is Aviara Golf in Carlsbad

I like property tax.  Most folks pay their fair share and it stays local.  Doesn't go to Washington, get wasted and then sent to the east or west coast.

I do some oogling of fancy large houses on fancy golf courses.  Very thankful I don't have to pay the mortgage, the taxes, or the utility bill on those wastes of sq footage.
I despise Property Taxes.  Even if I pay off my mortgage, if I don't pay my Feudal Lord(s) their annual serf dues they will kick me off their land.

Property rights are so fundamental to being truly free.

One of my wife's patients is 100 years old, and just bought a refrigerator.

The Home Depot delivery goons wouldn't put the shelves into the fridge, and refused to reverse the door hinges for her.

So that's what I'm doing this afternoon lol...

(Which is about a 10-15 minute job anyway...)

I once looked for some area within the US free of property taxes.  I'm still looking, unless you're a church or somesuch.

as you know, if they do away with property tax, they will simply tax you another way to get the money.

and that other way may send your money to be laundered in Washington DC
pick your poison

$5 million Alpharetta home offers detached guest house on 8 acres (ajc.com)

This one is up north, in a town that was the sticks when I last lived here.  I gather none of the owners worry much about cleaning the house themselves.

A gated estate, detached guest house and 8 acres have landed on the market in Alpharetta.

At 15060 Freemanville Rd resides a staggering 15,759 square foot home featuring a long, winding driveway and an expertly manicured lawn.

Which college-football program has produced the most NFL draft picks this century? Alabama? Clemson? Joe Burrow's LSU? Jeff Okudah's Ohio State? Time to find out. Here's a look of the top 50 programs based on stats published by NCAA.com. The schools are ranked by the total number of picks they've generated from the 2000 NFL Draft to the 2020 NFL Draft. Where there were ties, we separated the programs by their number of first-round picks.

A friend of mine's son stayed there every other week for about eight months, providing private baseball lessons to the owner’s 12 year old son.
