In other news, at SEC media days, the sound guy plays the fight song of Texas A&M as the entrance music, as Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian walks to the podium to take the microphone for his address.

I'd guess some dipshit nerdy tech guy, who has no idea the difference between TU and TAM (nor cares) was running sound, and goofed it up.

This is the second time through.  

I'm pretty sure it was intentional.  It was probably not mean-spirited, but it's a pretty big gaffe.  Enough of one that Sankey publicly apologized for it.

I don't know if there'd be any outrage but it would certainly be unprofessional for anyone working for the SEC in any official capacity, to do something like that.

Anyway, I think Sark played it the right way, and didn't breathe any life into the gaffe.  Pretty smooth.
