The Big XII CCG has been a mixed bag. Not a sellout the first year, in St. Louis, which did next to nothing to tout the game. That was a dubious host city for the game. Some years the game did quite well, a few years were not very good, crowd wise. Mostly good though. The B1G game does enjoy pretty good geography, compared to Pac 12 for sure, plus they don't care about anything. Even if Nebraska makes the game from time to time, I don't see them ever going hog wild for the game, 750 miles away, chances are they would know they are in it with 7-8 days notice. The fans love to travel yes, but they love to plan ahead for it.
I sense, I guess we'll find out tomorrow night, but a little Buckeye fatigue with the game. There are still a lot of seats for sale at face or less, which is good for those of us buying on site. I do think the Buckeye fans have gotten smart on showing up and buying on site. I've attended all the games, except last year, and only once did I have tickets in advance. Only Iowa/MSU was a game where I had to work hard, and still paid over face. NW v Mich would've made this a pricey game tomorrow night.
