Could the B1G West be as bad as the B1G East?

An unnecessary arm extension and push.  But it wasn't technically a wrong call on closer look.  Just one that may or may not get called at a certain time or place.

Again....think if not for the phantom PI on the previous drive....it may not be called.

That’s a good look at it.

Do you have one of the interception then reception then incomplete?

So, I watched the announcers show the replay, and it seemed to me the Reciever did iniate contact, but the defender held his arm and that is why it was extended.

I also have never seen a weaker PI call made. (Offense or Defense)
I've certainly seen weaker defensive PI called. But considering they'll let the receivers do whatever they want normally, that is easily the weakest offensive PI I can think of

By the way....this is the DPI they called on the previous Purdue drive.  This gave them a first down at the five when it should have been around 4th and 7.  Instead of a 4th down try or a FG attempt....Purdue easily scored a TD on the very next play.

All in all.....refs were making poor calls down the stretch.....and I wouldn't be surprised if the OPI was a makeup call.

I love Off PI calls, not called nearly enough, relative to DPI, but I was quite surprised by that one.   I heard about this call via text and was expecting to see a Keith Jackson '86  level push off of Broderick Thomas type move, but I'm not seeing it.

not sure many coaches will give that info injuries and COVID are protected by HIPPA and our team never says anything until pregame warm ups

I'm guessing the Axe game will not be played next week.

Turned the game on at the start of the 3rd Qtr.I saw 5 fantastic catches in that quarter.Couldn't believe it-was like a highlight reel.I dozed off with like 13 min left and Minny was up by 4.When I woke up it was 1:30 and BTN was lamenting how Purdue got jobbed and they were right. This is why Each coach should be able to question any call once a quater.Break for commercials it won't lengthen the game. And Kudos to the gophs for playing without half the roster.

Upon further review perhaps it was the right call.Anyway some controversy to go both ways and entertaining to watch

PJ Barnum is busy rowing

great win for a team short some players and coaches due to COVID

That would almost certainly knock Wisconsin out of CG contention.

Obviously that would suck for Wisconsin. Pending the outcome of today's game at noon it would also impact tOSU/IU.

It might be ok if there is another cancelation such that UW can play another team.
