Brine?

When I did Thanksgiving last Saturday, I bought the turkey on Thursday from Costco thinking they were fresh, not frozen. It was a block of ice as well, and I knew in NO way would a 16# turkey thaw in the fridge in two days.

So I brined it (in the fridge, although if it's frozen you can do it on the countertop to start because the frozen turkey will chill the water enough). Found something I think on lifehacker.com that had an Alton Brown video explaining it.

It ended up fully defrosting, and the brine helps with taste and moisture in the finished product anyway.
Yeah that would do it. I ended up letting it sit in the package in water for any hour or so until it was soft enough to at least try and open. My preferred method is to spatchcock it then let it dry brine in the fridge overnight. I had to run some hot water in the cavity but eventually got it working.

So far the "next elite coach" Matt Campbell is getting outfoxed by yesteryear's "next elite coach" Tom Herman.

Larry Johnson will make his HC debut as interim against Illinois.

Will it be more in line with how it went for Ryan Day as interim HC? Or Luke Fickel?

In February 2020 Campbell turned down Little Brother, MSU. Perhaps he is not enamored with the State of Michigan. Iowa State re-wrote his contract and I think he agreed to a big buyout. Not that Michigan could not afford a buy-out, but I don't think this will happen at the end of 2020.
I am going on memory on the big buy-out, which is not fail-safe.
I still like your meme.

Iowa doinks it and Nebraska has a shot
When Nebraska joined the Big Ten and won the 1st two games in the renewed series, my thoughts were, "What makes anyone think that this is a rivalry game deserving of the last game of the season?"
Actually, despite the fact Iowa leads the "Big Ten Iowa-Nebraska Series" 7-3, the 2018 and 2019 games were 3-point games, and 2020 a 6-point game, and Nebraska could very easily have won these three games. It is becoming a rivalry game.
Unlike most other schools, Iowa now has four-rivalry games. Rivalries become diluted when they are either not competitive, or are too numerous.
I personally would like to reduce the # of games played against Iowa State, and that happened to work out well this year, for me.

CMU/EMU

Central beat Eastern, can you believe it?

Additionally, Liberty edged UMass 45-0.
