Im very confused about clock rules.  Feels like you should just play with 20 guys on the field if there are 10ish seconds left, get the stop, and give up 5 yards and all the time that runs off.  Why dont they reset the clock back to the start of the play?  Put your whole roster on the field and give uo the 5 yards and all the time

Oregon:  from barely beating Idaho to beating OSU.  Hmph.

Exactly what I thought. Makes absolutely no sense.

The moment someone did that, they'd make a new rule.  Since there is an existing 10-second runoff to prevent the offense from abusing the rules, they could just make a 10-second addition to prevent defenses from doing the same.

Entertaining game- as promised.   7 lead changes and a little bit of everything.

Oregon deserved the W.

I would bet on Texas against either of these teams on a neutral field.

Is BYU legit vs a big boy team?

We used to laugh in college about when they would just accept that overtime was part of the game, and stop explaining the rules. That was 20 years ago, and they still feel the need to do it. Granted maybe they just want that sweet Cheez-It money as a sponsor

Im not sure we have a true big boy team other than Texas.  I think everyone else is vulnerable.  So given that, I think theyd be a team I wouldnt want to see in a 7-10 game.  Id mich rather play an Ole miss or LSU
