In past eras, the kind of loss Georgia spat up yesterday would get them busted down to the Music City Bowl.

They can try to avoid a rematch all they want, but it'll be SEC-SEC-SEC for the NC all the same.
Georgia really ain't all that. They feasted on bad offenses and weak ass scheduling. The one time they played a team with 10 wins and a high level offense they got blown off the field.

And this iteration of Bama is very beatable if- unlike Georgia- you can rush with 4 and have a secondary that isn't ass. Which; Michigan has.

they 100% should be out. I feel like if you got your ass whopped in the conference title game- you should be out. Had they lost in a nail bitter- OK- sneak them in. But it wasn't even a competitive game after the 1st QTR. Bama ran them out of the stadium. Georgia is a very flawed team. Awful secondary, no elite pass rushers, no speed or weapons on offense, and a high school QB. They feasted on weak scheduling and a bad offenses. They were nothing but a paper tiger.

they should try to avoid that- as the ratings last time an All-SEC NC happened the ratings absolutely sucked.

not so hot take: they want Michigan in the final- because they want the ratings. Michigan brings ratings. A Georgia/Bama rematch won't.

Only way to guarantee it doesn't happen is to pit them against each other in the semifinals.

You could make an argument for either Alabama or Michigan is number one.

I don’t think you can make a realistic argument that Georgia is worse than number four.

They could go Alabama number one, Michigan number two, Cincy number three, and Georgia number four.

This will be interesting.

Oh, I agree their schedule was overstated. I watch a lot of football, you see.

But to declare they lack speedy play-makers and an "awful" secondary. The other team has five-stars too. (And don't wave Danny Kenell around as if he's not a hot-take artist and honk for the conference whose "network" he analyzes for)

The world doesn't have to be so extreme in either direction that your eyes bleed. It can be a shade of gray. Their defense could've been very, very good against an underwhelming schedule, and that is what it is.

On the plus side, if all that stuff you said is true, you should desperately want Michigan to get a shot at that overrated squad.

Mario can dish it, but he can't take it.

What a surprise.
Congrats, your response makes absolutely no sense. Just not a relevant topic in this thread.

There’s definitely a place to have a conversation about that topic, simply not this thread.

What it should be:
1) Michigan
2) Bama
3) cinci
4) georgia

what it will be:
1) Bama
2) Michigan
3) Georgia
4) Cinci

Same matchup, but I personally don’t see how they flip flop Bama/Georgia instead of moving up Michigan/Cinci.

Hutchinson is the best defensive end that's ever played at Michigan. 14 sacks this year- the single season leader in Michigan history. In a year with dogshit for QB's- kid should be the #1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. However, I hope he's not, as I wish being drafted by the Detroit Lions on no man, not even my worst enemy.

Uhh, do the math.

Going from 12 teams to 7? That's not how you do a playoff.
