not top 10, but ranked...

LSU was ranked #16 - now 4-6

Indiana was ranked #17 - now 2-8
Texas was ranked #21 - now 4-6
Ranking is evidently rank

on another message board someone said "The last time Texas lost five in a row Bear Bryant was coaching....... Texas A&M."

The way Texas has recruited, one would think even a mediocre coach would have them at 8-4ish, and with wins over KU.

taking a page from the Big Ten book inviting the Huskers

Huskers don't have a huge market, but they do boost ratings
all w/o winning any games vs traditional powers

utee- you think Sark could actually get fired after only one year? how long will Texas keep him, do you think? if he doesn't turn it around next year- you think they pull the plug after only 2 years?

They at least have to give him a full five year recruiting cycle in order to see what he can do with his own guys. :098:

hope he gets fired just cause yes I am still bitter for that stunt he pulled with recruiting Worthy to Texas after Worthy already signed an LOI with Michigan.

Michigan would have an insane WR group going into 2022 had Worthy just remained blue. Ronnie Bell, Worthy, Roman Wilson, Andrel Anthony, Cornelius Johnson, AJ Henning and Erick All would've been a sight to see.

My senior year playing baseball in HS the team basically quit on the coach.  We were good, but in the playoffs we all quietly wanted the season to be over.  We lost two in a row to much inferior teams, just had no desire to win, at all.  We did get that coach fired at least.  He was atrocious.

if Lincoln doesn't like it, take it up with the conference brass, it's a tie-breaker deal
