I'm trying to use AI sites/apps to produce a bunch of images, but get stuck with daily limits using the free versions.

I know I'm wanting something for free, but this kind of stuff should be something we can all access.  Perhaps it's too early-on, but this industry should be accessible to all, like the power grid or phone connections, etc.
I know you pay for those, but much differently.  Hell, set it up so our tax dollars pay for it.  It's going to be necessary in 5-6 years anyway, right?  Let's make it a public work instead of greedy corporations raking it in. 

And some of those big AI outfits have already gotten bailouts, so let's not pretend all the tons of money they've spent is some sort of noble cause.  Their recent IPO valuations are insane, but SHHHHH about that.  Just get out before they fall off a cliff.

I don't understand you at all.  First off, none of the things you mentioned are "free".  Neither the power grid nor the telephone system was ever free.  About the only thing the gov't provided was something about common carrier, basically saying you didn't have to pay for the poles in front of your house, they basically held a gun to the utility co's head to make them run power and telephone out to less populated places.  But you still had to pay something to get service.  

And as far as using our tax dollars, what part of $37 Trillion and growing in debt should we use for that?  No thanks.  

I think I subscribe to two of the AI services.  $20 bucks per month, it's immensely useful.  I bet you have access through the school district like I do at work.  
As far as the greedy corporations go, I heard they are losing big money implementing this stuff.  

One more thing...Try Grok.  I've had great luck creating images on there, for free.
