I'd give the Irish the nod over the mountaineers

#2 has won 3 of the 5 played. #1 has won none. I'll go with #2 here.

I went with the homer vote for ND. Would have likely been another classic between the Irish and the Noles. And Nebraska/West Virginia would have been a good one, too--and I think Nebraska wins it. Nebraska and the Irish pounding away on the ground would likely have been a low-scoring game, and because I would want that outcome, I'm going with the Irish.

I voted FSU.    The beat UNL in Miami on a phantom block in the back on a punt return and fumble that was never called.    (yes... I don't let go...)

I voted FSU because I feel like they underachieved in the games vs ND and Nebraska in real life.  Given the chance to play those teams again, I think the games turn out differently in solid, double-digit wins for the Noles.
It's not what I'd want to happen, just what I deem would be most likely to happen.

I understand your thinking

I deem it's most likely that in a rematch, the Huskers would bounce Charlie Ward by 2 TDs

Well one of us is emotionally invested and the other is reluctantly picking a rival because, you know, objectivity and stuff.

I was emotionally invested sitting in the ORange bowl that evening

not so much today

Coach Bowden himself said the Huskers outplayed his team and were probably the better team
