I kinda feel like we could use another week before we can sort out the good ones from the not so good.  But I will try anyway.

1.  Indiana - Ind is cruising.  crushed Rutgers on the road.  Close win over NW at home in W4..  next up Ind plays at Neb in Big Noon kickoff.

2.  Ohio State - Jeremiah Smith for the Heisman.  Impressive dominating win at Iowa.  Beat ILL at home in W4.  Next up MD plays at OSU

3.  UCLA - had the week off.  Demolished MD on road in W4.  Beat Purdue at home in W3.  If you still have doubts about UCLA,  they travel to Oregon next.  Time to see how good they really are.

4.  Northwestern -  who said Chip Kelly was washed up?  Big upset in dominating win over Penn St in NW"s brand new stadium.  NW had close loss to Ind on road in W4.  Next up NW hosts Ball St

5.  Oregon - had the week off.  Beat USC on road in W4.  Next up Oregon hosts UCLA.

6.  Wisconsin - impressive dominating victory over Mich St at home.  Upset Penn St on the road in W4.  Next up Wisc has the week off.

7. Minnesota -  Minn's defense looked really good in win over Michigan at home.  Upset Wash on the road in W4..  next up Minn plays at Purdue.  Is Minn due for a letdown after 2 big upsets?

8.  Iowa - Iowa very close to being 0-2. Got dominated by Ohio st at home.  Beat Mich on the road..  Next up Iowa plays at Wash on Friday night,  iowa could have used an off week instead.

9.  Michigan -  lost on road to Minn.  Lost to Iowa at home.  Mich's offense still has some issues.  Next up Mich has the week off. Is it time to try a new QB?

10.  Nebraska -  ends up blowing out MD at home after struggling early. Beat MSU on road in W4.  Neb may be undefeated but I am still not  a believer. They beat 2 bad teams IMO.  But Neb gets to prove itself now because next up Neb hosts Indiana.

11.  USC - close win at home over Wash.  Lost at home to Ore in W4 and beat Rut on road in W3.  Next up USC plays at Penn St in a game that does not feel so important anymore.

12.  Penn St - got dominated in loss to NW on road.  Lost at home to Wisc in W4.  Next up Penn St hosts USC.

13.  Purdue - nice win on road at ILL.  Lost at UCLA in W3.  Next up Purdue hosts Minn.

14.  Washington - close loss on road to USC.  Got upset at hime by Minn in W4..  next up Wash hosts Iowa on Friday night.

15.  Illinois -  got beat at home by Purdue.  Got blown out at OSU in W4 .  Next up ILL plays at Mich St.

16.  Mich St -  blown out at Wisc.  lost to Neb at home in W4.  MSU looks really, really bad so far.  Next up Mich St hosts ILL.

17.  Maryland -  had early lead and then fell apart in 2nd half in loss at Neb.  Got blown out iby UCLA in W4 at home .  Next up MD plays at Ohio St in a game that feels like sending the lamb to the market.

18.  Rutgers -  got blown out by Indiana at home.  Lost close game to USC in W3.  Next up Rutgers gets the week off.

1) Ohio State: Texas still the only blemish. Convincing win in a tough place to play.
2) Indiana: Feels like they went easy on Rutgers.
3) Northwestern: wild, I know. Their only loss was a close one at the defending champ's house.
4) Iowa: not bumping much for losing to Ohio State
5) Oregon: DNP
6) UCLA: DNP
7) Nebraska: took a while to warm up, but did their jobs.
8) USC? This next group, from UCLA down, will shake out more in the coming weeks.
9) Minnesota: best mix on both sides of the ball of the teams with good defenses, but mediocre offenses?
10) Michigan: be honest, on a neutral field, vs. Wisconsin (a battle of two bad offenses)--Michigan just has better athletes on D (but we can't ignore the loss to Minnesota, so the Goophers are higher).
11) Wisconsin: next three games to prove this isn't a fluke.
12) Washington: maybe Minnesota is pretty good?
13) Penn State: it's not that they are good, it's that there are five teams that are worse.
14) Purdue: a conference win! First since '23?
15) Illinois: ouch.
16) Michigan State: if they weren't so dinged up, probably an ok team.
17) Maryland: fought for a half.
18) Hey Rutgers, you suck!
