Why pay Underwood if you dont let him do anything?
less than 60 total yards?

I don't really blame #1 for removing his helmet - especially if he's a senior

I wouldn't have done it, but..........

We're going to mess around and wind up with Texas Tech as the national champions - a team no one has paid attention to all season.  The Anonymous Champions.

Not a lot of expectations in the SF_____ household. A lot of mediocrity in Minneapolis.

Florida looks hell-bent on getting our first 1,000 yard rusher since Fred Taylor's kid.

Crazy idea - feed your best player the rock.  Nuts.

Sun going down over Norman OK; stadium floodlights lights flickering on. Tied 3-3 nearing the half, LSU is winning the battle at the LOS. The Sooners have missed several chances to seize momentum. Too much at stake for Venables and staff to squander away this one.

Or Notre Dame?
Eh. As much as I absolutely hate Notre Dame--and I do--it's a different thing.

Honestly, Purdue/ND is not the level of rivalry as Purdue/IU because Notre Dame is a historical football power in a way that Purdue nor IU have ever been. It's always seemed like Notre Dame's football success hasn't really come at the expense of either program. Whereas between Purdue and IU, because we're often fighting for the same recruits and playing in conference, it seems like success for over the other is a zero sum game. So I realize that Notre Dame may someday have lightning strike and get another NC, because they come to the table with better recruits and more money than either Purdue or IU ever could. It's not like we're in the same class. But watching IU do it would probably give them momentum that would give them a 15-30 year advantage over Purdue in the places where we directly compete.

At this point I desperately want someone to come in and poach Cignetti because every year he's at IU not only helps them, it hurts Purdue. Because we're in direct competition most of the time.

howdy-ho everyone, tough start for the OSU V M* but the Buckeye defense was as adverdised keeping M* out of the endzone. Not sure how the offensive line turned into Lombardi's Packers but they did. After that 4th and 5 TD toss Smith that surprised all of us the good guys never relinquished the lead. It's funny a whole bunch of us questioned why Day was stubbing his toes on bad running calls then goes deep - glad he got his redemption.Anyway was also enjoying The Goophs V the UW and the fighting Fickells - Big Ten weather right there
