Buckeyes seem very committed to the running game

not sure why

I wonder if they will bring in the Washtenaw County DA on this one?

I know the smart play is to trade down, since you aren't taking a QB, but it would be hard to pass on Reese at 1-1

I think Texas has a very good chance to make the playoffs. Not a fan of his but like Starkiss ( I can never remember how to spell his name-Sirkisian?) says they beat 3 top ten teams this season, lost at Ohio State by 1 score, and played a good game @Uga. 10-2 Texas gets in for sure. Is that really the message they want to send?  Play easy non-con games, get into the playoffs?  That Ohio St-Texas games had ratings through the roof, I’m assuming they want more like that.
This.

This.

I hope that's true.  But I won't complain if Texas is omitted, we had plenty of chances.  The loss to Florida is a really bad one.

But of course, if Texas had scheduled and played Georgia State at home in the season's first game instead of Ohio State on the road, as Ole Miss did, then the Horns would be 10-2 and an obvious playoff participant.

It'll be interesting to see what the committee does with that.

Much though I hate the dirty cheaters, the same thing applies to Michigan concerning their game at Oklahoma.

I don't want the committee to discourage games like tOSU/TX and OU/M

Will he be at the New Brickhouse today?
No, he’s home (visiting with his GF—and sort of us) today.

It's been this way since the dawn of man. There is risk/reward because if you win you have a big leg up on the others.

Halftime Ohio State up 17-9.

This game feels a lot like watching the Arizona-ASU rivalry game last night. An experienced, senior-laden Wildcats team stuck to a gameplan that should've doomed ASU from the get go, a gameplan designed to take exploit ASU's limitations due to injuries to star Sun Devils on offense, particular at QB where the downfield passing game wasn't working.

But because it's a rivalry, and with the backing of home crowd, an outmanned ASU was able to do every last little thing to hang around. Despite statistically dominating the game it took Arizona well into the 4th quarter to pull away.

That's what the Big Game feels like thus far, with us all waiting for a favored Ohio State to break away.

I use to be able to root for scUM outside of ohio state but with the blatant cheating and doubling down on it. I want that team to lose every game, to have the stadium to collapse for the college to fold. For the earth to split  and swallow ann arbor, the big whore
