How does MSU have 10 more 1st downs than PSU, yet PSU is averaging 6.4 ypc?
Only one stat that counts - just win baby

Wanted MSU to win. Thought it’d bode better for Michigan next week.

Having said that, I have been thoroughly unimpressed with Lewerke. Penn State blew that game. Lewerke threw INTs right to their dbs that should’ve ended that game many times over.

I really thought it would be an overtime forcing FG instead of a TD.

Nice win, Sparty.

Took 2 plays for Bama to score a TD.  Took 2 plays to get the ball back from Mizzou.  10-0 in the blink of an eye.  Sheesh.

Yup, sounds like Black is still out. And Gary is in street clothes. Woof.

Solomon and Dwumfour are dressed. And we're really going to need them.

Kwity Paye. Step into the spotlight. It's your time.

It at least used to.  Dick Hoenig, who was a ref for a while, then retired and opened his own reffing goods store in Ann Arbor, was one of the initial one.  I believe he's the one who beefed the Brandon Minor call in 2008, where the pilon was laying out of bounds and Minor landed on it well out of bounds, and he overturned the call in perhaps the worst replay overturn of all time
Hoenig's Referee Supplies was a thing when I started reffing in 2003.

100%.
Penn State DBs had way too many chances to end that game. Blew them all.
You want to be a great db? You gotta make those plays. Period.

Gary should’ve had off season shoulder surgery.
Or at least sat out every game post ND.
They really mishandled him. It’s a freaking joke.

That's conjecture. We don't have enough of his personal medical details to know.

Maybe.
At the very least should’ve sat him vs WMU, SMU, Nebraska, and Northwestern. He wasn’t needed. Let him rest. Why risk it??
He aggravated things worse and is now out vs Wisc.
