don't dare be rude to the church ladies...  they can cook!

I've got all 3 types of soup ordered - chicken noodle, vegetable beef, and midwest chili soup w/beans and no heat!

Well worth the stop then

It's a balmy 22 degrees and overcast here in the Twin Cities today. Feels like January, not October. Just an awful day.  It will be snowing during tonight's game.

On the menu today is tomato tortellini soup, buffalo chicken dip, screwdrivers, and made from scratch sticky buns.
East River Flats?  buckets???

I'll be adding some heat since it's curbside service

Would love to see some team like LSU or UGA up in Minnie tonight.

Would not love to see some team like Minnie or UW in Gainesville today.

It was 80 yesterday.  I mowed the lawn at 7 pm in shorts.  Now it's 40 and I'm watching 4 year olds play soccer

I'd add chili flakes to the other two whilst warming. Probably gonna need some salt too. Old church lady cooking and all that.

Not sure what's cooking yet. Still have some more stone crab, a good lunch.

Probably going to make some chicken.

Our kitchen is not done. Countertops come next week. That's been the holdup - the China thing hit the manufacturer in Cali. I can't wait until it's done. Been using an infrared camp burner and a propane camp oven. It's getting old - 5 weeks now.
I’m going to wager that in your case, like mine, your game day menu will evolve given that you are now going to be in very warm weather. It tends to change your appetite.
I can’t speak for anyone else but cooler air makes my appetite more hearty and robust and makes me want things like pasta and carbs

So you like game temps different from food spice?

I don't think there is any question about that. I love chili and pot roast, but no way right now. Maybe in January??

Now it's more fish/shellfish than ever before. I've got ribeyes in the freezer that I have no interest in right now.

Probably a chicken stir fry tonight. Maybe some rice, but maybe not. Lunch is set with stone crabs. Need to eat only like 3 of them. Mrs. 847 went big on those. They are huge.
