I'm ready for this..........

22 degrees, high of 36 - that's why the grill is in my attached garage

Bloody Marys, little beef smokies, cheese, and chips early

Fish fry at a Hawkeye fan's garage later - perch and walleye

Lutheran Church's annual soup and pie supper at 6:30 - pickup only

hoping the Huskers give the Bucks a game, beat the spread, maybe keep it within a couple TDs

It's 66°F here already, going to be warm, with late afternoon showers apparently.

The wife likes this weather a lot.  I don't think she has ever complained about the heat that I recall.  And of course October usually has splendid weather here.  The leaves are just starting to change a bit here and there.  The big sycamore outside my window has some yellow on it.

The city is sometimes called "City in a Forest" because the residential areas are all tree covered, which is nice.  I was thinking of driving around in the NW area when the leaves get colorful, the area with a lot of impressive mansions.  I'm amazed that so many folks have that much money.  And of course other parts to the south are the reverse.

It's a beautiful 78° in my part of Florida.

Heading over to a friend's around 1:00 since he ordered the Gaethje - Nurmagomedov fight.

Lucky for me he's a Florida fan, and they are cancelled today, so will be able watch Purdue vs Iowa at 3:30.

Picked up some Weihenstephaner and Franziskaner.  Wife is making a 7 layer dip, I'm cooking up some bacon wrapped chicken bites.  Friends have a pizza oven we will be putting to use.

Been waiting for some B1G football for a looooong time.  Today is a good day.

don't dare be rude to the church ladies...  they can cook!

I've got all 3 types of soup ordered - chicken noodle, vegetable beef, and midwest chili soup w/beans and no heat!

homemade rolls and...

couple slices of apple pie!

It's a balmy 22 degrees and overcast here in the Twin Cities today. Feels like January, not October. Just an awful day.  It will be snowing during tonight's game.

On the menu today is tomato tortellini soup, buffalo chicken dip, screwdrivers, and made from scratch sticky buns.
