He's always teetering on the edge of insanity.  In the first quarter of the Michigan-Ohio State game, Harbaugh and the team were all a bunch of bums who needed to  be fired and forced off the team.  After that game, they were all of a sudden invincible world-beaters who might be the best team ever.  There was zero chance that TCU had any business being on the same field with them.  Now, after a loss, they're bums again.

This insistence on over-inflating the relative importance of successes, leads to a cognitive dissonance with the reality that Michigan was a good but not great team, and TCU was more than capable of beating them, without it being the fault of the coaching staff coming apart or whatever the current blame is, in his mind.  

Just admitting that TCU is a really good team, and that Michigan wasn't the greatest team EVAR, would go a long way toward restoring balance to his mind.  For his sake, I hope he can get to that point.

The constant assertions of excess to either side is rather remarkable I think.  Rarely do we see anyone characterized as "pretty decent" or "not that great".

I guess this means I'll hafta wear my lucky shirt ...

...  and yes, certainly, this Dawg team has holes and can be beat.  TCU caught a few breaks yesterday that don't always fall your way.  


They were 8 for 16 on third down, UM was 3-13, which is a good sign for TCU of course.  UGA was bad on third down.

I’m no fan of tcu but I wouldn’t mind if they win it. Just be nice to get some new blood in there, plus I have no idea if their fans are obnoxious or not, I literally don’t know any.
