2026 Volleyball Season

Didn't realize it was a thing but the Big Ten-SEC Volleyball Challenge started today.  MSU swept LSU.  Don't think LSU is great, but neither is MSU, but a decent mid to low level conference win

Horns swept by Nebraska a couple days ago in Las Vegas, gotta try to bounce back against USC today in Austin.

Wisconsin is 1-3 after the opening of the season, and has moved up in the rankings (from 6 to 5). Their three losses are to the teams ranked 2, 3, and 4. Their win was against #6 Louisville.

MSU might actually be decent this year?  Swept both LSU and South Carolina.

Now decent in the Big Ten might mean like 10th place

The court layout for these volleyball matches tonight  at Wrigley is terrible from a spectator POV.  Im glad I took a pass on this.

Wiggly, in general, is terrible from a fan standpoint.

Parking sucks, concessions suck, most of the seats suck, and they are all uncomfortable (except the premiums).

It checked a box.  That was it.  Also my brother lived within walking distance at the time, so didn't have to park.

MSU with another straight sets win, this time over Cincinnati, to move to 7-0.

They should be in the top 25 of the Massey ratings tomorrow, which puts them at #11 in the Big Ten :96:
