Well, the Cowboys derp was way higher on the scale, imo, given the way they lost, at home, to the Cardinals; whereas the Chiefs lost a nail biter on the road, to a division rival that played in the AFC championship game last year and is (somehow) 6-2 this season.
I see what you're saying, but they're equally derpy in that the game flow was much the same, as was the difference in quality. The Cardinals are a worse team than Denver, but so is Dallas worse than Kansas City. And both the Chiefs and Cowboys controlled the game pretty comfortably until the end when the defenses decided, hey, you know what would be cool, is to let offenses score every possession at the end, while we forget how to pick up first downs.
I don't hate Bo Nix, but I hate that the world thinks he's a decent QB, and I hate that the Chiefs made him look like one at the end. Spags was in NOLA for a long time, trust me, I've seen this movie a lot before.....throw the house, oops, I left nobody back and got toasted by a blitz-beater again, wonder why I never learn. KC is gonna ultimately live and die by the offense as long as he's the DC, no matter what numbers or stats commentators come up with to make it sound like he's good at his job. Drew Brees can tell you. Payton of all people knows what's coming from Spags at the end of a game, and damned if he didn't count on it, see it, pounce, and make Nix look like a clutch, Brady-esque QB.
I get not being happy about the non-TD at the end that got ruined by an iffy false start, but by then they were already in a spot they shouldn't have been in.
Same story with the Cowboys, except neither they nor AZ are as good as Chiefs/Broncos. It is weird that the Cowboys haven't beaten the Cards in Dallas in over 20 years, and barely have beaten them anywhere. Jerry Jones leading that organization is basically like being headed up by Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.
