One interesting thing is that Florida's top 2 recruits are both legacies.

A 25th-ranked class + no NIL transfers makes Clemson a dull boy.

Woof.. Michigan lost Andrew Olesh to Penn State today.
Olesh willingly chose to play for this....he's the real loser in it all...

How heavily did Ohio State pursue him?

Zero.  And no other D-1 offers.

I think it’s great for the kid.  Just got a full ride offer at a premier school and football powerhouse!

Damn straight. And if you want to get a Communications degree and go into the family business of broadcasting, why not get it for free at UofM (14th nationally in Communications according to some website I've never heard of
14th nationally in Communications according to some website I've never heard of)?

All you need to do is go hold a clipboard, hit the weight room a bit, and practice with the third stringers...

If Ohio State didn't bother to recruit him, why would anyone be upset about him signing with Michigan?  Seems like a silly waste of a roster spot and a scholarship just to "troll" the Buckeyes but even if it is, so what?  It's good for the kid, more power to him!

I would guess that Herbstreit will be the first backup QB into the Ohio State game where the win was not in doubt.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

Exactly this. Personally, as a parent, I'd be proud and happy.

No D-1 offers, but the kid isn't exactly a slouch either. Anyone in Ohio I think knows some of the main football schools whether it's Ed's, Ignatius, Mentor in Cleveland area or St. X, Moeller, ELder and a couple others in Cincy. Being the QB at St X in a year they made it to regionals losing to Moeller, tend to know that most times kids like that are good to have around your program and on the professional side eventually your business.

You sure?

I think it could be a walk on. Herbie family doesn't need the 'ship.
