I guess it's on.

The Impact: Landyn Locke is a Badger (247sports.com)

This is the brother of current freshman UW backup QB Breadon Locke, who transferred in from Mississippi State, 6 months ago.

5* QB Bryce Underwood (6'3, 210) of Belleville, Michigan- the #1 player in the nation and #1 QB in the 2025 class announced he's going to be committing January 6th.

Looks like Ohio State is probably on the outs now that they took a 2025 QB commit, they were the main competitor to Michigan in the region. LSU and Alabama look like the competition. Michigan has surged in this recruitment, Underwood is a must get and easily the best prospect the state of Michigan has produced in at least 20 years. He'd be the #1 player and #1 QB in the '24 class if he was in it imo.

The #1 QB and #1 player overall in the nation in the 247Composite- 5* QB Bryce Underwood (6'3, 210) of Belleville, MI visited Michigan this weekend for their BBQ at the Big House 'crootin event. He just visited LSU this weekend as well for a recruiting event they put on. He's going to commit January 2024, and it's looking more and more like it's coming down to those two schools. Bama is trying to get in on him hard but tea leaves seem to suggest it's pretty much all M/LSU at the moment.

Don't think it's hyperbole at all to say Jeem's 2025 class is a monumental failure if he doesn't keep Underwood home. The state has not produced a QB this gifted since Drew Henson 25+ years ago. Underwood will wind up being the best QB recruit since Trevor Lawerence imo. He's only 15 and technically could be a 2026- and he's that physically gifted and on that sort of track. For Jeem to lose him would be devastating. Jeem has to sell everything short of his soul to keep that kid home or 2025 class is already a failure.

yes but also no bc he's committing in 4-5 months.

Michigan lost out on 5* QB Dante Moore in '23 and he was legit. Underwood is even more legit. They cannot lose out on him or it's a complete failure on Jeem's behalf. State does not produce that much high end talent on a yearly basis. And when it is producing elite talent- at the most important position on the entire field- well you have to keep that sh!t home or you failed at doing your job.

#1 player overall 5* QB Bryce Underwood was just at Michigan's campus again yesterday. Came back to visit with Jeem and Co just days after he was already there over the weekend for their little BBQ at the Big House- where they served that disgusting kids menu food and tried to pass that off as "BBQ".

This kid has been to Michigan so much in the last few months since they hired the new QB coach...starting to think they might actually land him...

Coach Prime sniffing around Michigan's territory, trying to get 5* #1 player and #1 QB in the nation Bryce Underwood. Underwood will visit Colorado for their home game vs USC now.

I was pro-Coach Prime but if he somehow swoops in out of nowhere and steals Bryce Underwood from Michigan, then well, f*ck that guy. Rooting for Nebraska to pull off the upset now and for USC to blow them off the field when Underwood visits. C'mon Caleb.

#1 player in 2025 class, QB Bryce Underwood (6'3, 205) of Belleville, Michigan is down to a final top 7. Michigan, LSU, Bama, Oregon, Penn State, Florida State, and Colorado.

Was thought to long be a Michigan-LSU battle, but Prime was sniffing around trying to get in there. Colorado just got a commitment from a top 100 player at QB from Georgia in the 2025 class. Would be a bit of a shocker if he went to a school that already had a top rated QB commit- as that typically doesn't happen in today's landscape. Announcing January 6th. Probably still a Michigan-LSU battle.

Good to keep this one home. Not a bad offer list either.
