for frame of reference, the 1906 Hitless Wonders (CHW) won the WS with a team .230 BA,  or .230/.301/.286.    That's a .588 team OPS.

Cleveland  2025 at .226/.296/.373 for a .670 Team OPS.

Our manager has both feet on the banana peel and has no idea how to manage his offense, nor his defense. Pitching, lights out. How he manages the lineup is absolutely mind-blowingly stupid and cost them the game yesterday. There was absolutely no reason to have Noel on the roster nor at 1B because he clearly can't even step on the base. Rodridguez should not have been in RF. He's not a good hitter and HORRIBLE in the field.  Today's lineup better, but they may have crapped the season away with absolutely stupid lineup yesterday which ruined a lights out pitching appearance. It's not easy to put out a better or equal performance to Skubal and Gavin Williams did and his manager played two clowns that shouldn't even be in the majors, let alone starting a playoff game.

Cleveland, monkey paw, unreal

Actually watching baseball for the first time all year. One, daytime sports are awesome. Two, it's actually on a channel I get. I swear I forgot baseball existed for much of the summer just because the games were buried on Bally's or something.

Good insights I haven't  paid as much attention with CFB in the mix.Well they got a reprieve with some offense - better late than never

MLB app changed the game, at least for Cleveland fans. They were stuck with Bally's for a couple seasons and it was a complete scam. Went to strictly MLB app, outside of a few of the national games for $100 for the season. When we're talking about 150+ games, it's well worth it. The other thing that was an amazing adjustment, they stream the game with choice of audio. You can either stream tv broadcasters, or overlap the radio broadcasters. Also a huge win for Cleveland fans as there's only one Tom Hamilton in the baseball world.

I'm just glad the Dodgers beat the team they were 10 games better than over a sizeable 162-game sample size.

Always feels good to win a coin flip.
