Does OSU care enough about basketball to purchase a roster like fMichigan has?

Great Euro professionals are expensive.

Found myself thinking about both sides of Arizona's low-3s approach. On one hand, you put yourself in a spot where if someone else has bigger hammers (and hits some outside shots), you're real cooked.

Of course, Arizona made it to the Final Four and did manage to hammer/defend its way through Arkansas and Va. Tech and maybe could've done it through some other Final Four teams not named Michigan.

UCLA women look like they’re about to win a national title.

Nice story, their coach has been at a while. Broke through last year to the final four, and they’re about to finish it.

Some really long faces at Indy airport this morning between many of the Zona and Illini fans.    An old timer Zona fan 'we played so badly is Mich that good?'

I have no opinion.

UCLA clubbed South Carolina. The B1G now reigning champs in football and women's basketball. Playing for men's basketball tomorrow. And Michigan and Wisconsin are in the Frozen Final Four of hockey. I was gonna joke that we are coming for baseball but apparently UCLA is #1 in that.

This is a question that I fo not know and would like to know the answer to.

As it appears to me:
I *THINK* that tOSU spent lavishly last year but the spending was mostly misdirected and spent on non-productive guys with lots of stars.

I *THINK* that tOSU spent minimally this year and more-or-less got what they paid for, a first weekend NCAAT team.

May also turns down UNC.  I would have been shocked if he took it

Auburn won the NIT or as I think of it, the Best Team Not Invited Tournament last night.  This obviously supports the notion that SoS matters.  As it turns out going 17-16 against one of the toughest schedules in the country isn't as easy as it sounds and is considerably more difficult than going near-perfect against creampuffs.

I hope the committee learns from their mistake but I'm sure they wont.

Only 3 other teams in the field were even from Power 5 conferences, and none of those were in consideration for an at large bid.

I don't think anyone argued that Auburn was less deserving than (and this was their actual NIT title path), South Alabama, Seattle, Nevada, Illinois State, and Tulsa.

But congrats on them needing OT to beat the 3rd best team from the AAC in the title game.  That sure showed the committee.

I can't even imagine a universe where the committee thought they got it wrong.

They don't.  Nor does literally any of the college basketball podcasts I listen to.  Even the most numbers centric people said this was the easiest field to ever select, which is why every Bracketologist went 68 for 68
