Saturday night’s five-set match between Wisconsin and Nebraska delivered 612,000 viewers on Big Ten Network, becoming the most-watched regular season volleyball broadcast across any network all-time.
The previous record was Nebraska vs. Wisconsin from Black Friday last year, with 587,000 viewers. Earlier this year, Nebraska’s stadium match against Omaha had 518,000 viewers.
Saturday’s volleyball match also pulled in a larger TV audience than the Nebraska-Northwestern football game on Saturday (560,000 viewers).
