Volleyball Day had a great showing at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska on Wednesday. The crowds there set a B1G Network viewership record.

The fourth-ranked Nebraska volleyball team took on Omaha with over 92,000 fans in attendance. The event earned respect from the likes of Stephen A. Smith. However, there other impressive feats from the event.

518,000 people watched the game, which set a new nonconference volleyball viewership record for BTN. It was also the No. 2 all-time regular season audience that a volleyball game has ever had across all networks.

Out of the 522 NCAA-sponsored women’s athletics programs at the 53 public Power 6 schools, only one program turned a profit. Husker volleyball.

Amazing what an elite setter does for a volleyball team.   Nebraska bullied Stanford on the Farm tonight.

Lady Horns apparently get distracted by thoughts of the beach, when California schools come to play.

Big match against the Buckeyes tomorrow night in Austin.  There's no beach in Columbus, right?

Florida's setter went down in the second set.   Stucky' s a big loss for Gators in SEC hunt.

You don't see a lot of 1 minute + points in volleyball.  In truth, I think the refs botched a challenge on that play on one of the pancakes.   there were about three things to challenge on that play really.   there was an immediate make up challenge a point or two later.
