They took out the old end zone seating and put in premium seating.

The Camp will probably be 60K by the time they are done, and even that may be too many.

Looks like better access to the shitters in the south end zone. It didn't appear to have made any changes in the rest of the stadium.

Trev Alberts is looking at similar "upgrades" for Memorial in Lincoln

I really can't blame them.  It's hard to convince the casual fan to come to the stadium vs. watching from home.  Not sure we'll keep seeing the sellouts much longer, so better to upgrade the experience than cram more in.

ESPN's Finnebaum was crapping on Notre Dame claimed the Buckeyes were going to smoke them in "The Big House."

Who knows what those two teams have.  But I believe- based on paper ( what they carry over from last season) NDs defense is being underrated and OSUs offense is being given credit for being in mid season form- which rarely happens in Columbus.

The "experts" have to say something niticeable, whether they really know anything or not is another question.

I find them occasionally entertaining.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, and assume that he was just taking a subtle jab at James Franklin.

Texas did the same with out most recent endzone renovation.  Replaced a large section of general seating, with clubs, suites, and loges, which reduced overall capacity by a few thousand but increased revenue by at least 10x for the same sections.

I think the luxo box thing is what got MB Stadium built to replace the GA Dome built in the 90s, I think it also played into why the Braves moved from a perfectly good stadium to a new one in the worst traffic part of the city (along with some generous tax benefits of course).

The average fan today is on the outs...  I have see ads for season tix to Tech games for $99 though ...
