I think former TCU head coach Gary Patterson would do pretty well in Lincoln.  He's an analyst on our staff right now and I'd hate to lose him because I can already see his positive influence on our defense, but he'll eventually want a head coaching gig again and Nebraska would be a good fit for him, I think.  Bonus is he'd be immediately available...

UNL offered Gary years ago

Nebraska outrecruits them? 

Then how is Baylor 26-13 the past 3 years and Nebraska is 12-23?  I don't get it!


Anyway, I hope Nebraska finds the right guy.  College football is more fun when they're good.

Comparing apples to oranges. 

Urban and Saint Nick the only sure things in this sport. That’s it.
 
Frost was never a sure thing, just viewed as great hire at the time- kinda like RichRod to Michigan.
