I love those old Clarendon font numerals, Fearless.  Huskers ought to bring 'em back.



Jim Littrell, fullback, 1973-75.  That's classic wishbone.  Littrell is the first option.  Behind him, to our left, is #5, QB Steve Davis, and further back and to the left is #24, LHB Joe Washington.  The RHB, the lead blocker on the option-right play, probably Horace Ivory but possibly freshman Billy Sims, is out of the picture to the left.  In the foreground is All-America SE Billy Brooks, who got to block a lot more than he got to catch passes.

That's the 1975 Oregon game, which OU won 62-7 enroute to the MNC.

In 1951, Buck McPhail ran 96 yards to the K-State 2-yard line, marking the longest non-TD rush in NCAA history.  This is not that run.  This appears to be vs. Texas in the Cotton Bowl.
