i've installed h2, accelerators, compression and deflate on the server in that last couple of days... the site should be MUCH faster and a ton more secure- the security the reason why i did it before the end of the season...
cliff notes: there is a script out there that some people (don't know who) are using to bust into forums that run this engine. i read about it and then i witnessed it here- but shut them down using another script somebody offered- works really well... and it slowed this place to a snails pace, which is why i went ahead and jumped on the accelerators, compression/deflate, and http2- to mask the time it takes to run the script. apparently, it disrupts certain features- and the quote is one of them.
I'll get on it and see what i can do, but while i'm fighting these guys (will take a day or so before a patch comes available) i can't promise anything... it was touch and go Friday and Saturday- but we made it. they won't bust in at all now, but.... until the patch is available and i can remove the script that's protecting us, i just don't know what to do about some of the features not behaving.
