Just put this on another site:
Quote
A great season for the Vols. Wish we hadn't seen Purdue till the FF, but that's life. We came up against a tree we couldn't climb.

Did get to see the POY runner-up all season. And while I give Zach all due respect, and all the credit in the world for developing his incredible physical gifts, and his game:

watching somebody back a guy several inches shorter, and 50-60 pounds lighter, into a three-footer; or jumping two inches for a slam dunk, is not that compelling a form of basketball, to me.

Our guys fought hard to the end. If we had had a few more shots drop...

In any case: SEC Champs. Elite 8. Proud of our guys. Go VOLS!

I had the same thought the whole time I was watching that game.  Not all 7'4" guys can play like Edey.  But chop off 8" from his height and he wouldn't be playing college basketball.  And without Edey, Purdue wouldn't be in the Final Four.
