This is the worst fielding team of TVs tenure.
The outfielders are not as fast as last years and do not have the arms last years had.
The need  for a catcher who can throw out baserunners
I dropped you a note listing it and some other issues I see with them. I am still watching and pulling for them.
They lack situational awareness.
They make mental errors which is also part of situational awareness.
Starting pitching is off. Don't know if it is the clock, mental issues including toughness, batters being more aggressive as they know most pitches will be strikes. a change in the order they throw certain pitches.
There is no clutch hitting. When your behind your concentration should increase. You don't want to loose.
Watching to many called strikes that are just barely out of the zone.
It is a rough schedule for even a veteran team, little alone one with this much youth.
Seems there is no leadership from the Jrs and Srs. There is no dog who is ready to lead a charge or get in some players faces.
I could go, but.....
I will add this, they can beat anybody they plat. They have proven this, but they do not feel nd to adversity, yet anyway.
Go vols

Only seen a few innings.  What I saw was late innings, 8th and 9th -- LSU, Arky, UF -- down several runs.  They get a runner or two on base, and then just stand there taking called strikes.  Even game-ending ones.

Get the damn bat off yer shoulder, son...

When was the last time you saw someone choke up when they were down in the count to get a little better control?

But I thought we had an All-American shortstop from Kansas?
I'm getting the impression that playing in the SEC is like playing in the majors, while other leagues are at the AA level.

Lost too many stars from last years team. I agree, they are a weak fielding team with very average hitting and pitching.
On the upside....for those not following the UT softball team...they're kicking ass and taking names. Beating up on everyone. # 1 in the SEC and 3rd or 4th in nation.

Game has changed.  It is all about hitting home runs and how hard a pitcher throws.  Kind of sad.

I hit my share of Home Runs but down in the count I choked up and got a lot of singles and doubles. Also chocked up with runners on base, us behind and 2 outs that paid off

Interesting and surprising recipe.   We're staying away from tuna (and other big, top-of-the-foodchain fish) because of the mercury issue.  I might have to try that with sardines or mackerel instead.

If you use tuna packed from Italy you shouldn't have a mercury problem. My understanding is that they are smaller.

And yes, it is absolutely delicious.

I'd think mackerel could work.

Mercury in Tuna: Is This Fish Safe to Eat? (healthline.com)

We like the steelhead trout from Costco, but occacsionally buy tuna, which I think is safe as rarely as most of us dine on it.

As for sportsmanship in baseball, it's rarely much of an issue, I think.

Do they have a pitch clock in CFB?

Why don't you take your nonsense to a sports team you follow

Likewise you post does not have a damn thing to do with what we were talking about

It was good to see some fight from some new comers last night but after the top of the 9th the energy was sucked out of the place.

Vitello needs to be careful as this team could give up.

Lots of rumors about clubhouse issues between team members. If true we are facing a lot of turnover again this off season.
