The opposing team simply has to call a slant inside to the middle every play.
Works every time....

The wheels are coming off this team.

LB play is not good, QB play is nonexistent and OL can not block with any consistency

Coaches are out of there element at every level they can't develop players to become better especially the quarterbacks.

Either Cheeseburger Chaney is terrible as an OC or Tater Head won't let him run the offense.

Maurer looked better as a freshman than he did last night. Of course running off tackle putting him in third and long didn't help certainly wasn't very smart on someone's part.

Also lack of reps with the 1st team and lack of playing doesn't help either
If everyone is thinking alike then somebody isn't thinking.

Damn, I was wrong.  I thought the answer was "just show up."
Meh, maybe next time.

Anywho, enjoy your game against Florida.  It's on Dec 5th, so if there's a fishing trip or something you'll looking to schedule, you might pick that weekend.

I don't think the Tennessee defense has stopped or disrupted the inside slant all year long.  You'd think that they'd make adjustments after getting burned on that call multiple times a game for six games in a row.....

But no....

Guess who's responsibility that is on the zone?

Guess?

To'oTo'o's... the heralded LB... the focal point of the team... he can pass rush, yes; he can tackle in space, yes; he can clog the lanes beyond doubt... but that effer can't cover a route in the middle.

I've been bitching about that crossing route since the USCe game.

I mentioned it in the shoutbox during game time... the last two games when Bailey came in the team perked up.  They want to play for Bailey.

JG is trash.  Good kid, but a terrible player.  The allegiance to him defies logic,  and it has destroyed the team by my reckoning.

Maybe UT should run the option...
