It doesn't have to matter, it can just keep happening.

Georgia had a long mostly losing streak to te Gators (Spurrier had something to do with that), and it got in their heads.  It does matter, and it takes a while to reverse it, which is done by winning of course.  I think it's still a smaller factor.

Although LSU dominates the record vs. UF since 2010 enough to have evened the all-time record, the severity of the losses in '93, '94, '96, '00, and '01 still makes it feel like we haven't beaten them enough times, by enough points, to have adequately made up for that.

2011 is the only game in my lifetime (that I remember, anyway) that LSU won big over UF.  Something about the swamp lizards enables them to play LSU well even when LSU is appreciably better.  LSU will have to figure out a way to drill inferior Florida teams a few times before most fans I know will feel like justice has been served.

I remember that game and how it felt weird that it was a blowout.  It didn't matter that ya'll were #1.  You don't just beat us up.  It kind of made it easier to handle, because it felt like a fluke.
Even in '19, we were going in for a tying score late, vs that world-beater team..and at your place.

It's always stupid line talent, speed everywhere, and crazy skill guys on both sides.  The kind of fight where the winner looks like a puzzle with a couple of missing pieces.
