For those not watching the SEC Baseball Tourney...Alabama umps win one for Bama.
Score tied bottom of the 9th, UT had bases loaded with one out. Batter hits ground ball to 3rd and Bama tries to turn double play,. Batter beats the throw and winning run crosses plate. UT on the field celebrating but wait....umpire calls runner interference at 2nd base.
The runner slid straight into 2nd and puts arm up to keep from being kneed in the head by the 2nd baseman and the ump calls interference, nullifies the run and Bama wins in the 11th.
The SEC tournament is in Hoover Alabama, the call was reviewed in SEC office in Birmingham and upheld.
Some things never change.

All the strike calls 6 in. off the plate were troubling as well.
