Offensive line clearly #1.

But, Huepel is still the worst clock management coach to ever man the sidelines.

And seems to have lost his aggression.

We should cut Faizon some slack. He's still a true freshman, and he got little support from the run game or from his OL in pass protection. Texas' DL is clearly head-and-shoulders ahead of our OL.

Despite that, we almost had a miraculous finish that would go down in the annals of Tennessee football history.

Hard to fault time management when Texas has the ball with about 3 minutes on the clock and a 10 pt lead and 2 minutes later we're 3 pts behind with the ball.
The difference between winning and losing was a freshman QB who was not able to execute with the game on the line.
Had read all week that Texas had the best D-line in the country and they clearly outclassed our OL today.
Our freshman QB will learn and get better.
Hope our OL can improve

If Texas is the #1 team in the country we wont play a better team so am optimistic

Agreed. I can't point to one play where time management was an issue.

We were on about the 45 yd line with 30'-40 seconds left and told my wife the only thing we couldnt take was a sack.....we then took a sack.
Freshman QB has got to learn to get rid of ball even if he thows it out of bounds.
He did that all day. He'll learn.

Was unimpressed with our O-Line and our receivers. When the line gave him time, no one was open.

Defense looked good overall and Texas is a talented team.
