Reading JG has a broke left hand

Surgery tomorrow morning
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

that's too bad.  and it happened on a play where there was TWO targeting non-calls... both on him and on Jennings in the end zone.

he played well enough today, but what i saw was a Strout come of age.  He has a freakin' arm, that kid.  He's every bit as good as Mauer, which isn't to say either are great... they're both 'raw' up until Mauer in the Miss State game and Strout today w/ USCe.  The future looks good for UT.

JG may make a good coach one day, but i'd guess his Tennessee football career just ended with that injury.

What's the deal with Maurer?  When does he come back?

Concussion protocol.  Kid needs about 50 more lb's on his frame if he wants to play that position the way he's shown.  Tucking, running, and collisions are cool... But not when there is a 50+lbs of pure muscle delta between the tackler and the tackled.

Reading most likely this Saturday

So, JG played against UK and the Vols after a 1-4 / 2-5 start have a shot at 7-5.

they have a real shot at it. Vandy seems to be Vandy once again, and Mizzou is having execution issues it seems- but also of note Mizzou seems to have UT's #.

I'd love to see Derrick the Fool Dooley made to look as he is come Saturday.  When a team inherits a QB as Mizzou did and doesn't exploit it for all it's worth, there is a problem with coaching... which isn't hard to believe with Dooley's history.

7-5 sure seemed unlikely a month ago.  it is still not a certain thing.... but.... there is a real chance.

6-6 is a bowl game of course with extra practice time.  7-5 would be a pretty solid ending to the year especially if it is 8-5.

UT yeah!
