A couple of players and coaches will miss the A&M game

RB Eric Gray and QB Brian Maurer will not play. Also coaches DC Derrick Ansley and RB Jay Graham. I assume Covid related.

Tennessee football is facing an investigation from the NCAA and university compliance. A source indicated to VR2 on SI earlier today that Tennessee was being looked at for violations related to impermissible benefits for current student-athletes, but the source did not name how many athletes were involved.

I listened to the Vol broadcast while watching the game and they never once said that Gray was out due to Covid...only that he was unavailable. This could be the reason he's sitting out game if he received illegal benefits.
For those wanting to get rid of Pruitt this could be UT's easy out if he were fired with cause.
