A quick glance at roster numbers for 2024...There are 15 seniors that could return in 2024.
There are 9 juniors that could return
There are 11 sophomores that could return
There are 33 freshmen that could return
They have 20 commitments currently and are in hot pursuit of several more. Likely go to 27 or so.
They need heavy portal help and I anticipate them being active beginning December 4th
Due to the sanctions they can only have 83 scholarships in 2024.
As you can see they are going to need significant attrition out of the returning seniors as well as underclassmen. Going to be an interesting December for the Vols.
