My annual Cocktail Viewing Party with my UGA friend here is canceled again because he's decided some church thing he's doing is something he can't back out of.  Something about getting together Christmas toys and clothing for needy children.  Whatever.  What's more important here?

It got canceled last year because my wife's grandpa died and we had to go to the funeral.  Which is where I wound up briefly in a Days Inn which should get its own Netflix show by the guy who made The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

So really, this isn't even an annual Cocktail viewing party anymore.  I mean, if you miss two in a row, it's not an annual thing anymore.

So I'll be stuck watching Texas and BYU with said wife, which is on at the same time.

Lame.

My terrible guesses, hoping I'm wrong on at least one of them:

A&M  41  USCe  31

MSU  27  Auburn  20

Kentucky 34  Tennessee 31

Ole Miss 38  Vandy 13

Florida 27  UGA  20

I'm sure I can't do better, but that won't stop me from arguing anyway.

I don't see a way for MSU to score 27 on Auburn.  Or air.

Why pick against UGA?  Bower being out?

UGA knows that no matter how good they are, all bets are off vs the Mighty Gators.
We have an offense that can run AND pass!  Wow!  But our defense is crap salad, so idk.

Florida is the last team to beat the Dawgs in the regular season (2020), so why not bookend that this weekend?!?

I had been thinking UGA minus Bowers is a 9-3 kind of team this season.  The Gators have bee playing decently on offense and can potentially outscore the Dawgs.

And it's a feeling, a Larry Munson kind of feeling.  The Dawgs lose a fumble and have 2 INTs and the Gators just beat'em.

The bye week has scored zero points against us all-time, but this unit is bad enough that I think Bye can put up 21 at least.

I'm taking UGA and the 14.5 points.

I honestly just want Etienne to get more than 8 carries a game.  Florida has been doing DCs a favor all year.  It's criminal.  And put Etienne and Wilson on the field at the same time.  Fer christ sakes!

Florida should not win.  We're 5-2, prob should be 4-3.  Our OL can't pass-block.  Our D doesn't know what it's doing.

We're 5-2 and still play UGA, FSU, Mizzou, and LSU.

I warched (briefly) some you tibe videos of folks "analyzing" this game.  They all seem to think UGA wins handily but might not cover.  I realize of course these "experts" are mostly guessers, going with the odds, etc.  Some of them publish their results of predictions ATS and they are nearly all at 50% or so.

And any "expert" could can beat the spread consistently won't be on u tube.

Anyway, it's all for fun.

I think Napier is a good coach and on the right track but he hasn't had the time to get the guys to stand up to the UGA lines. I think, barring a 4 TO trainwreck, the Dawgs win handily.

Dawgs 31-Stinkin' Gators 10.

I like UK to upset the Vols afterr the Tide beats them rwice.

Chalk on every other SEC game.

Utah getting a td at home seems like easy money but that just means stay away from that game, the books are professionals for a reason. Ducks by 10.  Go Bo!

None of the other games this week are particularly appealing to me.

If Utah wins this weekend Whittingham should be coach of the year.

Florida will be very good in 2 years if Napier is allowed to stay the course.
#3 recruiting class for 2024, then give them a year to get their feet wet.

Current talented youngsters will be JRs and SRs.  That 2025 team will be a force.
