Laugh at me if you will but I have a hunch that Missouri beats Georgia.

I wouldn't laugh at that hunch, it's obviously a clear possibility.  I have not watched Mizzou this year other than briefly their game with Tenn.

UGA lost to USCe last year.  I do think Daniels has sparked their offense.

LSU @ Florida - Florida 37  LSU 24  again close for a half

Auburn @ Miss State - Auburn 28-20

For the last 3-4 games now, Florida has been a healthy favorite and petered around in a 7-7 or 10-7 game, then scored before the half, scored coming out of the half, and winning comfortably.

This is not a good plan vs Bama.  Versus LSU?  It'll work, but it ain't sexy.

Yup, UF kicks in into gear at the half.  I don't think they were a healthy favorite against UGA, but did the same thing.  (UGA caught a pick six of course.)

UGA has been a one half team most of the season as well.  They led Bama at the half.

Florida sleepwalking again.  Alabama is going to beat the hell out of us.

Bama at Arky - Close for most of the half and then ....  41-16 Bama

UGA @ Mizzou  -  No feel for this one at all, UGA 34  Mizzou 20

Tenn @ Vandy - Tenn 27  Vandy 17

LSU @ Florida - Florida 37  LSU 24  again close for a half

Auburn @ Miss State - Auburn 28-20
Bama 52-3, they did start out a bit slowly.

UGA 49-14  UGA offense is different now.

Tenn  42-17  Vandy has never had a winless season.

LSU 37-34   Usually, a thrown shoe refers to a horse.

Auburn 24-10

So, I missed the upset, the rest of them were not hard to call, as often is the case.  If JT Daniels returns to UGA next season ...

After picking Missouri over Georgia, I guess I will surrender my guru license.

BTY, Mullens' decision to rest Pitts proved fatal to any chance Florida had to make the playoffs.

A hunch is not really a pick, and it seemed like a plausibly hunch for an upset.  None of us expected LSU to hang with UF obviously for more than a half.  I kept expecting LSU to tire out and fade, but they didn't (duh).  UF gave them a few gifts, which are necessary for an upset to occur.

I'm figuring next week Bama scores almost at will and Florida, well, doesn't, something like 48-24.  With three losses, the Gators could fall to a bowl game they don't want.  The bowl situation is so uncertain I won't try and predict anything.

I saw one guess UGA would play Oklahoma again.  UNC would be my choice for a pick somewhere.

Seriously?
A - you have zero knowledge of how healthy Pitts was.
B - offense was not the problem:  609 total yards @ 8.2 yards per play

Ugh.  Try again.

We could see him walking the sidelines, so he was reasonably healthy, enough to walk about ...

Ugh.  Try again.
A-Pitts was quoted as saying he was fine. He looked fine. Todd McShay said they were saving him. So, yes, Mullen was saving him for the Alabama game.
B-That is a false argument. I think it is safe to say that if Pitts had played Florida would have had more yardage and more points than with him not playing regardless whether Florida had 600 yards total offense or more. Florida would most likely have won with a little more offense.

They'd also have won without a shoe toss.

For such a flawed team, the Gators were one late fumble and a shoe toss away from 10-0.  With a shit defense.

One can infer about a person's health by simple observation.  Walking around, smiling, talking?  Reasonably good health.
