Very interested in UT @ Bama

Game will transpire at the same time as LSU's, but Mrs. DeTiger is a Longhorn and she's going to win TV rights for that one.

The Longhorns look like a very talented team.  Remains to be seen if they can play up to their physical capability and perform well on the road.  The new Bama QB looked fine last weekend, but I don't think I learned much about either team.  Very curious how this one will go.

You and me both.  I hope Texas can keep it competitive.  I guess we'll see.

What I'm most interested in is how Sark will counter Alabama's favorite play they run on Texas....the one where they knock Texas' QB out of the game.

Bryant-Denny is a different animal... the zebras are interviewed and must pass Lil Satan's board before entering.

If you beat them there, then you have to really beat them.  The score may still be close and as close as the refs can make it- even if your team is the far superior team that day.

It's really, and truly, that bad.

Itll be interesting when the powers behind Texas and OU collide with the powers of Bama.

Meanwhile, I just want to see a good, clean, fairly officiated game.  Bama won't let that happen in Tuscaloosa.

Comparable stadiums are Provo and the plains... but they aren't as bad.

OU's main "power" is that they follow Texas around.

Yeah I've heard SEC folks talk about this over the years.

Nothing I can do about it so I guess I'll just have to watch and hope for some miracles.

On the "bright side," B12 officials have been absolutely destroying Texas since the announcement that we're leaving for the SEC, so it won't be anything new to us.

Ole Miss - Tulane .... Ole Miss 31-45  - Tulane 21- 35.... Tulane would have to catch Ole Miss in a bad outing and have a great one to make it work
Texas @ Alabama.... I honestly like Texas to cover.... Texas 17-35 - Bama 21-42... Bama wins, but cover?  dunno.. it's a 7pt game right now.
Texas A&M @ Miami.... now this one?  This one should be a game... aTm 28-42  - UM 28-42 .... of course, this early- guessing is all we got... it'll likely be a blow out just because I said this...
Arizona @ Miss State.... don't know how this made a 'notable' list... may be a tight game, though.
Auburn @ Cal...there are a lot of time zones in the middle, which usually hurts the traveling team... but... Auburn here... Auburn 28-49 - Cal 17-31

I'm really interested in A&M @ Miami.  Could be a pillow fight, but if either spanks the other, they might be legit.

I've wondered about that before.  I like the outcome so far.  I don't think anybody could argue the refs favored Bama in that game.  Mind you, I don't think they favored UT either.  Off the cuff, I can't think of any calls or big non-calls I took exception to.  I thought it was reasonably officiated.

Maybe just getting Penn Wagers off the field for the last couple of seasons has started draining the ooze from the waste dump.

Miami kind of spanked A&M and I somehow came out of that thinking they're still not legit.  Maybe they'll prove me wrong.
A&M looked terrible in pass defense again....they'll probably still beat us again at season's end.
