This Saturday seems like a good slate and good schedule.

Early slot, Texas and Tennessee with not much else interesting for me, so I won't have to wrestle the remote away from Mrs. DeT to keep jumping channels.  

Afternoon slot, Ole Miss/UF seems fun, and OU/UGA is a nice helmet game to switch to during commercials....not sure how good the actual game is likely to be.

Night slot, nothing else too interesting to compete for my attention during LSU's slot, but USC/Or. is interesting enough to switch to during commercials/halftime.

Its too bad someone doesnt invent a way to record a game so you could watch it later.

Yeah, when I was in my 20's and even 30's I used to do that.  Now I don't even watch a full day of football during the three time slots on Saturday, and I sure ain't staying up late to watch recordings or spending time in ensuing days on it.  Ain't nobody got time for that anymore. 

Also, I don't think I would even if I could.  I still enjoy football on a Fall Saturday, but I don't live it and breathe it like I used to.  When it's on, I'll probably at least have it on in the background.  Recordings.....eh, no.  

Besides, with a wife who also likes NFL on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, that's four days total of football, and that's overload for me.  Not inclined to dedicate extra hours to catching up on Saturday's games.

There's no need now, with abridged games on youtube for free, but when you could do it and fast-forward through commercials and halftime, it was great.  The best was starting the recording as the game was mid-3rd quarter and getting to the end the same time everyone else watching live did.

Tried a few times back in the day, but some asshole friend or family member always ruined it, despite me saying don’t call or text with game “news”.  

Or a stupid ESPN alert or sone such.
