I'll be a Mizzou fan until we play them.  There's never any reason for them to be good in the SEC, lol.

Maybe Cincy will be back before the weekend to give his picks.  Here's some stand-ins.  Haven't been tracking mine this season but seems like I'm pretty hit and miss.

MSU          17
Arkansas  26

Tennessee   16
Alabama    30

S. Car      26
Mizzou    45

Ole Miss   35
Auburn      20

Army       20
LSU        50

The Bama/UT score is more a shot in the dark.  I think Bama wins this weekend, but the score is hard to peg.  Vols have been a very stingy defense overall and Alabama can't really drive the field.  But they've become good at long balls the past couple weeks.  If UT can limit those, Bama will struggle and may not get anywhere near 30.  Still dicey though, because that unit gave up 183 rushing yards to Florida, who was more productive on the ground vs. UT than everybody except Vanderbilt (no, McNeese doesn't count).  Bama's rushing attack has kinda been all over the place.  Really don't know what to expect here.

On the flip side, I don't see a way UT doesn't struggle to move the ball.

The Vols have had issues on the road as well.  I just don't see them scoring enough to win.

24-13 Bama, something like that is my guess.

Looks like Army lost to Penn St. only 20-14 in 2015.  In 2018 the Black Knights took Oklahoma and #1 draft pick Kyler Murray to overtime.  Next season Army took #7 Michigan to double-OT.

The moral of the story is if LSU were to beat Army something like the shot-in-the-dark score I predicted, I'll claim it as definitive proof that LSU >>> PSU, OU, UM, and I'll probably claim a national championship in the process.

I mean, it's a very Bama thing to do, but as they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

These should probably all be lowered about 5 points.

Mizzou 40, S. Car 21, etc.

I lowered all these by 5 points, so, let's grade this.

Big whiff on Arkansas/MSU.  Greatly overestimated their ability to score and also picked the wrong winner.

Underestimated Tennessee and Alabama's ability to score.  Point differential was on point, tho.

Pegged Mizzou okay, USC not so much.

Not bad on AU/Ole Miss.

Overestimated Army's ability to score and their ability to stop LSU's second and third stringers from scoring.  Not very close.

Need CD back.  I ain't too great at this.

Our endzones painted camouflage looked super weird, and maybe even weirder was hearing Tiger Stadium applaud an opponent running out of the tunnel.

The flyover and paratroopers pre-game were pretty cool tho.  Don't think I've ever seen that there.

our secret weapon is no one cares about us....helps us steal a win every yr.  someone always shows up disinterested.  often more than one.  fine by me given the disadvantages.

but we're decent this yr so i would imagine uga pays attn & slaps the **** out of us next week as opposed to last yr when they were obviously uninspired.

after that we can compete with the rest on our sched, ut & fla should be good games win or lose.  ark is a mess.
