Which dark horse teams do you see with a good shot at ten wins (regular season)?

College football spring practice 2023: Overhyped, underhyped teams ahead of upcoming season (247sports.com)

Tenn and Wisconsin are listed as underhyped, but neither is really a dark horse.  He has USC and Colorado as over hyped.  My guess is Tennessee has another solid shot at ten wins regular season.

Teams that could exceed expectations:

South Carolina - I base a lot on having a good experienced returning QB, and they do.

Florida - They don't really, but at some point their talent level should mean winning games against mediocrities.

Missouri - I have no idea but I heard them mentioned by someone.

A&M - After years of disappointment, maybe their talent will show up?  What's the buy out?

Arkansas??? - They start to look decent in 2021 and then fade.  Same with UK, who lost their "all world" QB to the draft.

First and 10: Alabama has gotten soft in the middle. Until that changes, it's Georgia's world (saturdaydownsouth.com)

Odds to win the SEC in 2023: Tennessee fans may be disappointed (usatoday.com)

Fans shouldn't be disappointed with such odds.  I'd take a flyer on the Vols if I were betting, and maybe South Carolina.  My boring guess is we'll have Bama-UGA though.  The QB situation at Bama is ??? so maybe LSU again, or maybe A&M finally perks up?

The various on line CFB sites now are pushing out all sorts of click bait as usual.  I click on something on occasion if it looks halfway interesting, they almost never are really.  Best QB, best defense, whatever, we'll see soon enough, well, I guess it's soon enough.

A&M will have a very good year.
UGA will not 3-peat.
Florida could beat every team it's favored against and only go 4-8.  I think we'll finish above .500 if we don't pass too much.

Every year, it's the same thing looking thru Hawg colored glasses and 10-2 predictions. But with 5th year senior KJ Jefferson and Enos the QB whisperer, The Hawgs are set at QB barring injuries. Rocket has put on 10 lbs of muscle and they say he's even faster and with a experienced group of RBs behind him we're looking good there too. WR is a question mark, LOTS of new faces, lots of size and speed too, but no SEC experience.

Depth, on the OL, DL and LBs is what I keep hearing and apparently new S&C coach Ben Sowders has the entire team adding beef and speed. The defensive backfield... no where to go but up :96: and lots of new faces back there too.

Here ya go, 10-2! :86:

Western Carolina - W
Kent State - W
BYU - W
@ LSU - L
A&M (Arlington) - W
@Ole Miss - W
@ Alabama - L
Miss State - W
@ Florida - W
Auburn - W
Florida International - W
Mizzou - W
