The footwork, the arm angles, eyes that mislead the defense. All these things turn a QB from a guy with good skills to a contender. Last year, Quinn was trying to remember all those things when he was on the field. When he got hurried, he reverted to his high school style.
This season, he's obviously internalized them to the point where they were automatic. With a month layoff, he let some of those bad habits creep back in. Now that he's confident in his arm again, and the ability to take hits like a football player, I suspect this week will be about locking back in to the good habits.
