I think this A&M LSU game is going to be a real barn burner one way or the other. I know that LSU claims that they are ready for payback from last years 7 ot thriller but that was so many games ago is it realistic to still be fresh in your memory especially when you finally beat Alabama?

LSU probably has a talent advantage in every category but I like the fact that this A&M team has played so many tough games on the road. At #1 Clemson, at UGa, and then Bama at our house. It was stated up above that this was their worst defense in several years.  To me it all depends on their run defense.  Jimbo will try to run the ball and if we can have even a modestly successful run game of 100-120 yards it will be a game. That and win the turnover battle. We have been really poor at getting turnovers and really bad at giving them up.  I’d settle for not giving one up.

I’m predicting LSU wins this 32-28 but there’s a bunch of Cajun and Aggies who will have heart attacks before it’s all over.

Speaking of stacking up...

My family and I attended Student Bonfire Tuesday night and had a great time. I was a student at the time of the 1999 Bonfire collapse so this was the first time in 20+ years I’ve seen the bonfire burn ( no longer sanctioned by the university of course).

LSU this was built and burned in your effigy:

I think it might well be a good game, A&M has a tough style of play, LSU seems to me to be more "elegant".  They obviously have fire power on offense and stopping their very good running back has to be a prime objective.

Edwards Hillaire I think is his name.  He is impressive, a lot of YAC.  Getting pressure on Burrow could be tough if you focus on stopping the run.
