Irving, Texas – The Big 12 Conference has announced the 2018 Preseason All-Big 12 Soccer team, as voted on by league coaches. The team, made up of 11 student-athletes, is led by West Virginia with four honorees.
Seven of 11 preseason selections were All-Big 12 First Team or Second Team selections in 2017. Bianca St. Georges (West Virginia), Julie James (Baylor), Haley Woodard (Oklahoma State) and Cyera Hintzen (Texas) earned first-team distinction a year ago, while Rylee Foster (West Virginia), Easther Mayi Kith (West Virginia) and Haley Berg (Texas) garnered second-team recognition last season.
The 2018 Big 12 soccer preseason poll will be announced on Thursday, August 9 at 2 p.m. CT.
The season kicks off with three teams in action on Thursday, August 16 (Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State). The remaining seven programs will open the year on Friday, August 17.
