Big 12 Women’s Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

July 08, 2019

Seventeen Big 12 women’s golf student-athletes earned a spot on the 2019 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars list.

All nine Big 12 women’s golf programs were represented on the list as Texas Tech led the Conference on the poll with three honorees. At least two student-athletes from seven league institutions garnered awards, while Iowa State and Kansas rounded off the Big 12’s presence on the national list with one honoree each.

Of the 17 named WGCA All-American Scholars, 12 were 2019 Academic All-Big 12 First Team honorees and four were 2019 All-Big 12 team members, including the Freshman of the Year, Hailee Cooper of Texas.
